Q: My air conditioning and/or heater doesn’t work?


A: Check the thermostat batteries, and replace them if not working.

Q: My air conditioning is not cool enough.


A: Check the filter and replace it if dirty.

Q: My power bill is too high. Is there a way to lower it?


A: Service your air conditioning at least once a year to get the maximum efficiency out of it, check doors and windows sealing around the house, and keep your blinds shut during hot days.

Q: How often do I need to change my air conditioning filters.


A: Filters should be changed every 3 to 4 weeks, depending of use. Some filters are good for up to 90 days but still they can get dirty in just a few weeks


Q: My garbage disposal doesn't work, what should I do?


A: If it doesn't make any sound, check a reset switch located under the disposal. If there is noise it’s probably stuck and it can be fixed using an Allen wrench, first UNPLUG your garbage disposal, then, on the bottom, in the middle of the unit there is a hole, insert the wrench and work it back and forth. This should loosen up the jam. IMPORTANT: never put your hands inside the unit if it’s not unplugged.

Q: My bathroom light or plug doesn’t work.


A: Look for a ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) outlet and push the reset button. If it doesn’t fix it there might be a water or an electrical problem


Q: Why is there no hot water/ Why is my hot water coming out cold?


A: Check if your water heater pilot is lighting up.
